We engaged in a short tête-à-tête with Suman Das, Director of Brand Operations at Radix. In this interview, we had the chance to ask Suman about Radix’s story so far, the role he has played in helping Radix and the state of nTLDs in this evolving domains market. Do watch the video to know more.
Started in 2012, Radix is world’s 3rd largest domain portfolio registry and Asia’s largest gTLD applicant to ICANN. Radix is part of the Directi Group which is currently valued at $1.4 billion. Radix has been an active participant in ICANN’s process to expand the internet naming system and has obtained the rights to operate over 9 new gTLDs (generic Top Level Domains) including .ONLINE, .STORE, .TECH, .WEBSITE, .SPACE, .PRESS, .SITE, .HOST, and .FUN.
Today’s partner in focus is one of the largest Domain Resellers in Singapore – Active Domain. Active Domain LLP has been a partner with LogicBoxes since 2007 and they’re one of our biggest partners in the Asia-Pacific region. On the occasion of them completing 10 years with us, we had the opportunity to chat with Mr. Tom Ho at Active Domain LLP about his thoughts on the partnership with LogicBoxes, his journey so far and his plans moving forward.
.DO is the country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Dominican Republic, the country which is ranked as one of Caribbean’s most visited destination. With an impressive and fast growing economy, there are a lot of small business owners, start-ups and government workers looking at taking their business online, and .DO is just the perfect domain extension for them. For the .DO Registry, the main aim was to migrate to a fully automated platform which would help their customers to streamline their domain management process.
